Kensington Palace. This is where Diana and, until her death in 2002, Princess Margret lived. Princess Margret's state rooms are currently being renovated for use by some other royal family member. This palace is owned by London and is in custody of the Queen. Parliament wanted to tear it down, but Queen Victoria, who had grown up here, begged them to restore it and open it to the public. Today it is mostly a museum with royal residences set up when needed.

The King's Stairway. King Charles had this built.
A swan in the pond of Kensington Park, just outside the palace.

The first known image of Christ from the British Museum.
