We have landed! The first day was a gorgeous one, so we decided to take advantage and hit the London Eye. We then headed back to the hotel for some rest and showers. Afterwards, we went and ate at a great little place. Italian Restorante. Very authentic and very good. We will leave the fish and chips for tomorrow.

This is the view walking up to the ticket counter.

Here's a picture of Big Ben from our pod on The Eye.

I don't know the name of this building, but will re-post when I do. Pretty cool architecture, huh?

I would LOVE to see that architecture in person, espec. the Houses of Parliament. The rocket-shaped building is called 30 St. Mary Axe: http://www.realestatejournal.com/propertyreport/architecture/20040716-littlejohn.html
Have fun!! Looking forward to seeing more pics.
Love,

That ferris wheel is awesome! So is the building, which definitely is rocket-shaped! I like the photo of the perspective walking up to the ticket booth.
That is so amazing!! Those buildings must be so powerful in person! Enjoy...
