Martello tower. James Joyce lived in this tower for some time. Tybee had a martello tower. They were set up as a quick form of defence for ports. Howth was Irleland's largest port until recently.

Sunset over Ha'penny Bridge. We're just glad we got to see the sun.
A nice ending to a long, wonderful day. A pint with our friend Eamon at Horse Show.

March 16th in Dublin

This is a book vending machine. I thought it was really cool. I don't have any pictures from the first day in Dublin. We landed and went straight to participate in a treasure hunt through the city. It rained soooo much and we got sooo wet. I didn't want to destroy the camera. Our clothes are still drying. We had lots of fun, though. We walked for 5 hours and saw the whole city.
The outside of our hotel. Bewley's in Ballsbridge built in 1759. We love this hotel.
Jason and I with the statue of Molly Malone.
Grafton Street. Good for shopping.
