Sorry we had a few days of downtime. The last few days were a bit of a challenge. We had some medical problems, my laptop was stolen, Paris wanted to keep us longer and my luggage continued on to Canada.
We are very glad to be home. We can say, without a doubt, we LOVE where we live. We know for sure God intended this life for us. It didn't make sense, and some of our friends still feel it doesn't make sense, to move hours away from every one we know. But we know for sure that this place is included in our purpose. That said....
We had a great trip. We have many memories and lots of laughs. A few weeks have passed and we can see beyond all the chaos from the end of the trip. We may actually even miss Stephen. Maybe :)
My favorite memory? There were so many. I really enjoyed walking around the markets. Whether Camden Lock, Portabello Road, Monte Montre (I know I didn't spell this right, but I don't feel like looking it up), or the thrift stores in Dublin. I thought we really got to see the culture of the towns. I enjoyed being more relaxed in Paris this time around. Since it was my third time, I could stop and look around.

Lighhouse from 1817 AD
Martello tower. James Joyce lived in this tower for some time. Tybee had a martello tower. They were set up as a quick form of defence for ports. Howth was Irleland's largest port until recently.

This is a book vending machine. I thought it was really cool. I don't have any pictures from the first day in Dublin. We landed and went straight to participate in a treasure hunt through the city. It rained soooo much and we got sooo wet. I didn't want to destroy the camera. Our clothes are still drying. We had lots of fun, though. We walked for 5 hours and saw the whole city.
