It is now two weeks before we leave. I'm starting to dream about the trip. That is, when I can get to sleep. I'm getting very anxious. There is sooo much to do in Rome, we are starting to have to prioritize things. We have been watching anything we can find on Tivo about Rome. We have found some really neat little cities near Rome we want to visit, as well. Jason keeps adding in so many side trips, I'm not sure how much of Rome we will see.
One of the side trips is to a little town that is from Medievil (sp?) times. They are known for their ceramics. It is made from local volcanic stone. There is one shop where you can take lessons in local ceramic painting and paint something to bring back.
Just outside of that town is a huge villa (someone from history). It has acres of gardens and fountains. It looked gorgeous in the video.
