We are now at a close to our second and last day in Paris. We have had a great time! Today we ate lunch at Le Joules Verne located on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. We learned We would get very skinny if we moved here. We both ordered a meal where you get to try a little of everything. Some stuff was good. We both agreed the French are best with dessert.
We also went to the Louvre, today. Jason loved looking at all the art. I loved seeing my favorite painter, Paolo Panini (see picture). He was amazing! So detailed and realistic. Then we went to their post office and sent postcards out.
Yesterday we went on a tour. We stopped at Notre-Dame. It is so beautiful! We lit a candle for Melanie. She loved Paris so much. We also stopped at Montmontre. We bought a very nice painting.
This keyboard is different, so excuse any typos. Well, We are about to go to bed so ze zill be rested for our flight to Rome. We miss everyone!

Loved your message. Glad ya'll had a good time the past two days in Paris. You're right, the French are very good with desserts!!! Your pictures are great!! Stephen and Cass were apparently very lazy all weekend. He said Chicken slept with Cass and Ellie slept with him. They are threatening snow again tomorrow morning. Dad and I have doctor appt, so get to go in a few minutes late. Will look for a message again tomorrow. Have fun and be safe. Love, Mom and Dad
The self-portrait of you and Jason in front of the Eiffel Tower is cute! Could you not get anyone to take one for you?!? I've never heard anything good about the French food, other than the desserts by the way. I hope you took pictures of the food, I'd be interested to see it, as would my mother. I can't wait to hear your other observations! :)
Glad your having a great trip. The times I have been to Paris were just overnight layovers on my way home from Ukraine. The Eiffel Tower is awesome - and beautiful at night. My first trip the group I was with ate at a little outdoor bistro. The crepes were wonderful. The second trip, we ate at a French restaurant (around midnight, after visiting the Tower)Is it crowded there this time of year? Summertime is - but it is kind of neat to be able to say that I've been there.
